What is a paediatric haematologist?
A paediatric haematologist is a doctor that cares for children with any blood related condition. Common conditions include anaemia due to iron deficiency and other causes and investigation of easy bruising and bleeding.
Our general paediatric team can assess, reassure you and treat your child for many of these concerns, but commonly refer for an opinion when needed.
